£40.00 per hour Maths A level 

(£210 for a block of six lessons)

£35.00 per hour Maths GCSE

 

With 18 years of Maths teaching experience, I feel I am well placed to support students on their journey to achieving the best outcome in their Maths qualification. I currently work in Harrogate College with students at all levels from Functional Skills up to A-Level Further Maths and am up to date with all the recent changes in the education system. I try to make sure my students feel at ease during the tutoring sessions and aim to build their confidence through lots of worked examples and practice questions. I tailor the sessions to best meet the needs of the individual student and provide encouragement for them to meet their full potential.

June tutored our daughter in A level Maths during year 13. The lessons took place at June's home with two students together which worked well socially, ademically and was beneficial to us as it reduced the cost of tuition. Maths was always Olivia's most challenging A level subject but June helped enormously by providing reassurance and support, lots of practice resources and some challenging exam questions. This provided a big confidence boost to both girls and Olivia was delighted to be awarded the A grade she needed. We have no hesitation in recommending June as a Maths tutor.

They were courteous, concerned and professional from the first contact. They took time to discuss my daughter’s needs and match her to a suitable tutor.
Due to Covid restrictions all the sessions she had with June were online, but that didn’t stop them building an excellent rapport and my daughter’s confidence grew along with her skills. June went above and beyond at every session - often extending the session until she felt my daughter had got to grips with the topic.  I cannot thank her enough for the hard work she put in and the genuine care she showed at a very difficult time.
